Spaceman Moving Company ("Spaceman Moving," "we," "us") is operated by Spaceman Holdings LLC in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
What we collect
When you request a quote, book a move, or call or text us, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and delivery addresses, move date, and details about the items you want moved. If you pay us, our payment processor handles your payment details; we do not store full card numbers. Our website may also collect basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare quotes, schedule and carry out your move, send invoices, answer your questions, and contact you about your quote or move by phone, text message, or email. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your quote or move, such as scheduling, crew arrival times, quotes, and invoices. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms and Conditions for details.
SMS consent and mobile phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (for example, our phone and text messaging provider, payment processor, and scheduling and email tools), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
